Spectre (12A) – what’s it about?
With the 00 program being closed down, Bond must uncover the truth of the
cryptic message he receives from the grave…
If
you know James Bond you kinda know exactly what to expect with this one, car
chases, gun fights, explosions and Bond getting it on with at least one pretty
woman…so you know the drill. It was good, don’t get me wrong, but all so
predictable and been done before.

The Hunger Games
Mockingjay Part 2 (12A) – what’s it about? A continuation on from Mockingjay Part
1 this one wraps up the Hunger games series :’(
It’s
been a long road which has sadly come to an end with this finale. After being a
little disappointed by P1 this one definitely makes up for it, P1 just being a
lead into this movie, though I really recommend watching them one after the
other as it gives it a massive boost to the atmosphere and story. It is once
again, filled with a good mix of the action and story, but be prepared to take
your tissues as you may need them!

Zombieland (DVD – 15) – what’s it about? A young
college kid travelling across Zombie infested America who teams up with a
gun-totting Twinkie hunting Texan!
Zombies,
comedy, zombies, killing, more zombies, yep yet another zombie comedy but this
is pretty damn amusing in parts, it definitely has its moments. If you like the
whole zombie apocalypse deal and
you like it with a bit of a random streak then
this one will be right up your alley.

Beowulf (DVD – 12A) – what’s it about? The
story of Beowulf, a hero who sets out to defeat Grendel, a monster, who’s
tormenting a village.
This
is one of those movies that’s great but a little weird at the same time, I
think its probably the animation of it that makes it a little weird, don’t get
me wrong though I do like animated stuff but I think if this was live action it
would give it a little more depth. It’s a good story though that unfolds
throughout, so it’s definitely worth a look especially if you like Vikings and
mythology and stuff!
